Smoking Cessation For The Health Of Others

It is not only your health you are jeopardizing, it is everybody around you also. Every time you exhale the smoke or even just the smoke from a lit cigarette the people around you are inhaling it. They have no choice in the matter unlike you.
Thousands of people each year die from secondhand smoke from heart disease and lung cancer. Babies and children that live with smokers have more bronchitis, ear infections, colds, allergies, and asthma. Some non-smokers that are around the secondhand smoke suffer from headaches, dizziness, and eye irritation. Pregnant woman have a higher chance of having a baby with low birth weight. Even more staggering is that sudden infant death syndrome, also known as SIDS, is linked to smoking.
The risks that non-smokers take are chosen for them. If you stop smoking you will no longer be putting the health of others with the second-hand smoke in you hands. If you have children for instance, you will feel better by not smoking and letting them inhale the dangerous chemicals that is in tobacco smoke.
